The Star Party is set- this time for Thursday, March 26.
We will have an opportunity to view the first-quarter moon and see the shadows along the terminator line. Jupiter will be very close to the Moon on March 26 in the constellation Gemini. We will be able to view Jupiter and its four largest moons: Io, Europa, Ganymede and Callisto. The Vernal Equinox occurs on March 20, so we are officially in Spring.
If you have purchased tickets in the past for this program and did not receive a refund due to weather-related cancellations, they are valid for this Star Party event.
Admission to the museum and to the Star Party together is $10. Full details are listed HERE
